What Aethrovia does
Aethrovia provides a shared garage board and messaging tools. It helps a participating garage receive customer check-ins, update job status, and send service-related messages through WhatsApp, or SMS with the SMS add-on.
Your garage account
The garage is responsible for keeping login details private, maintaining accurate business details and opening hours, and ensuring that it has the right to contact customers. Do not share a mechanic login outside your team.
Customer messages
Aethrovia sends messages on the garage's behalf. The garage remains responsible for the content, timing, links, pricing, and promises in those messages, and for asking a customer before checking a car in by hand. Customers can reply STOP to opt out of that garage's reminders and review requests.
Data and third parties
The garage is the controller of its customers' data and Aethrovia processes it on the garage's behalf, under a data processing agreement signed at onboarding. Each garage's data is kept separate from every other garage's. Meta (WhatsApp) and, for the SMS add-on, BulkGate deliver messages as our sub-processors; Stripe handles card payments under its own terms. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but no online service is uninterrupted. A garage should keep its normal customer handoff available if the board or messaging channel is temporarily unavailable.
Billing and cancellation
Every garage starts with a free 30-day trial. After that, the subscription is €20 per garage per month, plus €6 per month with the SMS add-on, unless a different price was agreed when the garage signed up.
There is no contract. A garage can cancel at any time, through the Stripe customer portal or by telling us. The service keeps working until the end of the period already paid for. From that date no more messages are sent to customers.
For 30 days after that, the garage can still sign in and download all its data (Settings → Your data). We email the owner a week before the data is deleted. Then all of the garage's data is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.
